MSc in Psychology
​
I graduated with honors from the University of Pavia.
I carried out internships at the Cognitive Neuropsychology Center of the Niguarda Ca 'Granda Hospital in Milan, at the Psychology Department of the University of Pavia and the MomiLab (Molecular Mind Laboratory) of the University of Pisa.
PhD in Psychology

I spent half of my PhD in Italy (between the University of Pavia and the University of Pisa) and half abroad at the University of Hamburg and the University Clinic of Eppendorf (Hamburg) in Germany.
Clinical training in Cognitive-Constructivist Psychotherapy
​
After finishing my research training, I dedicated myself to deepening the clinical aspects of psychology and psychotherapy. I have chosen a methodological approach that brings together scientific knowledge on the functioning of the mind, brain and our body and considers them as integrated and synergistic systems.

Mindfulness based protocols instructor

I followed a specialist training to become a certified and internationally accredited instructor of mindfulness protocols at Bangor University and the Center for Mindfulness Research and Practice (CMRP). The CMRP is one of the institutions that has contributed most to the development of effective mindfulness protocols, the training of instructors, and scientific research in this area.

I follow the guidelines on teaching mindfulness.
Continuing education
​
​ I attended several seminars and trainings on different therapeutic approaches within the 3rd wave of CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy). My approach is based on constructivism, attachment theory and mindfulness-based techniques.

I completed the first level of training in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy based on compassion, and the second level of training in Sensomotor Psychotherapy, an approach that is aimed at overcoming trauma and developmental wounds, integrating bodily and sensory aspects with the emotional and cognitive ones.

I regularly participate in conferences, professional training courses, training sessions for mindfulness instructors and meditation retreats.
Professional pathway
I have been working as a private therapist and as a psychological consultant for companies and welfare services since 2017.
Psychologist and research consultant
​
I was a fellow of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation and consultant psychologist at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan, dedicating myself to clinical research and psychological support in the oncology field.
Adjunct Faculty​
I have held various lectures and courses in the field of cognitive neuroscience and clinical psychology for various institutions including the University of Pavia and the University of Milan. I am currently Adjunct Professor of Clinical Psychology for the School of Nursing at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
Clinical psychologist
I collaborated for several years with the Center for the Treatment of Anxiety and Depression at the ASST Fatebenefratelli Sacco in Milan, conducting, among other activities, individual and group short therapy courses.
