The different types of work together
Psychological counseling
Do you have a very specific situation that worries you or are you experiencing a moment of dissatisfaction but you don't understand why?

We meet for weekly orientation sessions (approximately 3) and then work for 8-10 weekly or biweekly on the situation. Each session has a duration of 45-50 minutes.
We clarify your current difficulties, the strategies you have already tried to deal with them and map your resources.
I will help you define your goals and we will evaluate together what can be useful for you to move in that direction.
Psychological support and psychotherapy
Are there any emotions or thoughts you are having trouble with? Do you have any "symptoms" that compromise your daily life? Do you feel overwhelmed by stress, or are you experiencing a sense of discomfort that you find hard to explain? Do you find yourself behaving in a certain way and then feel guilty or judge yourself negatively? Have you tried to change things but despite your best efforts it seems like you are not getting very far?

We meet for weekly orientation sessions (approximately 3) and proceed to create a personalized path to help you take back the reins of your daily life.
We work to raise awareness of your thoughts, emotions, body sensations, ways of acting and your perspective on all of this.
We develop the ability to recognize and regulate emotions, to detect and manage stress, to act more effectively and consistent with your values.
We find new ways of dealing with situations that put you in difficulty or that make you suffer so that you feel more free to go towards what is important to you.
We will meet on a regular basis (usually weekly in the first phase and later with a more diluted frequency). Each session has a duration of 45-50 minutes.
Mindfulness
Do you want to try new ways to manage stress and deal with difficult thoughts and emotions? Do you want to learn how to fully enjoy the moments you live?

Mindfulness is defined as the ability to bring attention to the present moment, with intention, in a non-judgmental way. Being able to notice things, as they happen, helps us to free ourselves from conditioning, from the automatic pilot mode that bring us into suffering.

An individual or group mindfulness journey can help you develop this ability and use it in everyday life.
Couples therapy
Arguments or quarrels between you are more and more frequent but do you feel like you never get anywhere? Have you stopped arguing or talking about what is happening between you because you seem to speak two different languages? Does it seem to you that something has broken between you and that there is no longer the harmony or complicity of the past? Are you no longer in intimacy or has intimacy become unsatisfactory?

In a first phase we carry out management meetings (which can include both 90-minute sessions in pairs and individual meetings of 45-50 minutes).
Let's collect the history of the couple and the individuals and let's clarify sulle difficulty you are encountering, let's explore what the members of the couple would like with respect to the situation and evaluate if there are conditions embark on a couple journey.

Couples therapy sessions last 90 minutes and usually take place twice a week.
In the course of therapy reconstruct the mechanisms that feed misunderstandings or that lead to the interruption of harmony between two people.
We work to develop new ways of communicating, interacting and making decisions .
The therapy does not aim to find a way to stay together at all costs but to help individuals establish a condition of greater well-being and lucidity for both, whatever the outcome.
Sessions in English
Is Italian not your mother language and do you feel more comfortable speaking in English? Are you facing a personal difficulty related to your relocation in a country and culture different from yours? Are you having a hard time settling in? Are you experiencing a moment of particular stress?

All the sessions for the services described below can be provided in English.
I regularly speak English in my daily life and I have worked both in English and Italian most of my life. I have been also been an expat myself for a period of my life.
